InSinkErator Badger 5, 1/2 HP Food Waste Disposer has been the best selling garbage disposer in Amazon.com for a long time. Bagder line offers wallet friendly solution for waste disposal. The 1/2 HP motor is more than capable of perfectly juicing organic wastes like fruit peels, vegetables, meat and even small bones. It uses a single-phase Dura-Drive induction motor and is capable of running at a speed of 1725 RPM. The single stage grinding system with two rotating hammers delivers enough crushing power to liquefy most household wastes.
The Waste King L-3300 gets the nod for best budget garbage disposal. I am excited about this disposal because it offers a very capable garbage disposal at a very low price. If you are looking to get a disposal but don't want to bother with all the frills, the L-3300 Legend is a great mid- to high-range product. I like the modest decrease in power from the one horsepower L-8000 unit from Waste King. While the L-3300 Legend may lack some extra power, many users I know are very positive about what it can handle in the way of food grinding.
Another disposer that can be bought with a limited budget. The InSinkErator Badger 1 is priced somewhere below $100. Which is great for those wanting a budget friendly disposer. But there are certain features in this disposer that isn’t as flattering as the others in the market.
Some products have it all, and some just have the basic necessities. Somewhere in the middle is the product you need, with just enough exciting new features to make pulling out your wallet easier, but a low enough price that you don’t wish you went with the basic product instead.
We’ve all had that experience of trying to figure out what we threw down the sink that won’t go down all the way to the pipes. I personally do not like this kind of situation because it is absolutely irritating. Good thing the old disposer was replaced by InSinkErator Evolution Compact. And frankly, the unit is working quietly effectively. It did live up to the reviews I read about the unit. And from the name itself, it did fit okay under my sink.
There are other disposers in the market that brings more grinding. power One example is the InSinkErator Evolution Essential. Though powerful in working, it is a bit expensive. So if you are looking for a disposer within the Evolution series but doesn’t like the small sized ones like the Evo Compact and Evo Spsace saver, then the Evo Essential will be able to deliver your needs.
If you are looking for a disposal, you should be aware that name alone isn't everything. In fact, I would say that most people are hard pressed to name three manufacturers of garbage disposals. While the big names have great reputations for a reason, they are not the only ones with a great product.
You never know when a part of the kitchen appliance will break down or needs replacement. And being in a tight budget and in need of a new unit is a big headache. In replacing old ones, we usually prefer something cheap but can work somewhere in the same line as your old unit especially if it provided service for 15 or more years.
